Description

Dear friends,

heavy workload kept me away from AB for quite some time.

However, at least I had managed to pull out my camera under the sky and take advantage of a clear night in November. Since the moon was shining brightly, using an Ha filter was mandatory.

On that occasion, I could try my new Redcat 51 for the first time (at least the many working hours payed off fortunately in this regard ;-)

Sh2-134 is a very large object in the constellation of Cepheus. It is a nice region around lambda Cephei (center) with lots of HII regions along with dark nebulae such as B 173-174 (L-shaped structure above zeta Cep) and B 169-171 (C-shaped structure to the right thereof). The region around lambda Cephei is designated Sharpless 134 and the smaller bright region to the left is Sharpless 135.

Still all the best for 2021 and stay healthy!
