Description

The Andromeda Galaxy is our nearest major galaxy. Unlike almost every other galaxy, it's heading right for us! We'll collide and merge with in a couple of billion years. When this happens, simulations show that, in all likelihood, no two stars which actually collide: such is the vast emptiness of galaxies.
