Description

Looking a little like microscopic bacterium on a lab slide is this scattered collection of nebula in the neighbourhood of the Tarantua Nebula.

I'm a little reluctant to upload this as it really needs a lot more time for a fair image. This has less than 3hours integration (less than an hour on each of Ha, OIII and SII), but with this target setting earlier I've moved to other subjects for the little bit of cloud strewn image time that comes my way. So a case of post what I have or wait till next year. I'll post it now and will try again next year to see how my skills have progressed - let's hope :-)

Stacked into separate SHO channels using APP and processed in Startools and finished in PS.

To get a barely "useable" image from the data I had, I needed to bin down to 50% in Startools to manage the noise levels and even then it is a bit of a stretch. So there's not much to zoom here. What you see is what you get ;-)
