Description

Mars with 10" f/5 Lacerta Photonewton + TeleVue 4x Powermate + AstroPierro's ADC, camera is Lacerta PlanetPro290 with IMX290 color Chip. Recorded with ToupSky software, stacked with Autostakkert 10% of all frames. Three 1minute videos were combined, covering roughly 90.000 frames.

South of center you see Solis Lacus, the "Eye of Mars", above it the Vallis Marinieris system, and the bright Tharsis region to the left. At 11h near the rim Olympus Mons. The dark feature to the right of Vallis marinieris is Margaritifer Terra.

Seeing was actually not steady at all, i just wanted to use the chance as Mars is receding already - but todays software can do miracles apparently. I tried not to overdo sharpening, but using a drawing like rendering.
