141P/Machholz @ 2021 January 17, 02:39 UT

Comet 141P/Machholz imaged on January 17, 2021, shows a very diffuse green coma although quite wide with 7 arcminutes and a small condensed internal coma inside which a tail is seen, very short and in anti-solar direction . The image was taken just two days before its closest approach to Earth at a distance of 0.53 U.A. of our planet.
