Description

Another image of the sun, this time the central region.
As the previous one the data was acquired from Tommaso Martino using a Lunt60 B1200 with a MagZero and barlow 2x lens, processing done by myself.
Unfortunately we hadn't a flat video frame to be used to remove vignetting and dust motes, but while for the vignetting I tried to get the effect less dramatic using masks on PS, I didn't want to remove the motes as I'm the kind of person who likes to do processing on the whole image rather than with "brushy" tools. :)
Impressive how active has been the sun 6 years ago compared to the cycle transition it's going through nowadays.
