Description

Arp 315 consists of three galaxies – NGC 2830, 2831 and 2832 – from right to left. These, along with 80 more are part of Abell 779. These are located approximately 300 million light-years away in Lynx.

There are numerous other NGC galaxies as well as quasars (there’s a blue, mag 20.09 V one to the right of center and the two galaxies on top of each other) and a confirmed planet (WASP-13b) around the bright star at the top left.
