      Description

While experimenting with BlurXTerminator (BXT), I found that it doesn't work very well with bright star forming regions in the galaxies. Artifacts in the form of worms appear.
I bring to your attention a technique for combining the results of the BXT with varying degrees of aggressiveness (Sharpen Unstellar).
For merging, I used an artifact mask.

      Im01_Lum - original image
      1. For the original image, we use BXT with maximum aggressiveness and with a PSF Diametr greater than the diameter of the stars. Fig. Im02_Lum_BXT_hard_for_mask )
      2. In Photoshop for Im02_Lum_BXT_hard_for_mask  apply NoiseXTerminator, High Pass (5pix), Threshold, Maximum (2pix), Gaussian Blur (1pix). Our artifact mask is ready (Fig. Im_03_Artifact_mask)
      3. Create two copies of the original image. We use a BXT with aggressiveness parameters of 0.8 and 0.4. for original images respectively (Fig. Im04_Lum_BXT08 and Im05_Lum_BXT04)
      4. Combine Im04_Lum_BXT08 and Im05_Lum_BXT04 using Im_03_Artifact_mask. The result is shown in the figure Im06_Result

This tutorial does not give a wow effect, but it shows how you can apply deconvolution with different parameters for different areas of the image.
