Description

This is a Center Crop as the galaxy is quite small. Full image at the link.

NGC 5866 is a lenticular (spiral?) galaxy with a prominent dust lane. It is 44 million light years distant in the constellation Draco. It is felt likely to be Messier 102, though there is uncertainty regarding the position.
