Description

The DIY ccd and Harmonic Drive mount saga still continues!
I did a mistake with camera orientation but i realized that this framing made the picture more original and so i choosed thi title: "The whale's Jump".
It really seems  a magnificent blue whale that make a big jump upon a dark and deep sea.
A very difficult object to shoot at this time even while you have a lot of Sahara's sand above your head that make a bad seeing and even more when you struggling against a lot of noise generated by an interference of tracking system. This kind of camera is really very sensitive to this kind of interferences. I finally solved  controlling the telescope via wifi  and unplug the USB cable. Works pretty good and i have less cable around (USB hub, and other 2 USB cables).

This is the first step of my future picture that i hope to do, using the unmodified canon 6d to take a wider field that include both NGC4631 and NGC4656.

Next target is NGC4656. We'll see what will coming out...
