Description

Not on a pale horse it rides--but on a dark serpenty, alien looking, wormish, nightmare. And a cloud of very cool looking dust follows. This is a very aggressive crop of a portion of the NGC 7000 dust lane, close to the great Cygnus Wall. One of the joys of astrophotography for me is to find interesting images within images suitable from cropping. I suppose the fact that it has been raining for 3 weeks doesn't help. This is a quite rare one for me, though...a crop of a crop. Fractals indeed!
