Description

Frustrated at my inability to accurately polar align (sigma Octans is a brute) I wildly swung my Sky Adventurer to the North just to the right of Denebola to see if I could find the Virgo Cluster. Didn't really expect much, with cloud and tracking, but the result turned out better than I expected for my first Northern target and first target beyond the local group.

Actually I am amazed what you can pick up with what is effectively a 50cm telescope and 30mins integration.
