Description

The Cat's Eye Nebula (also known as NGC 6543) is a planetary nebula in the northern constellation of Draco. It lies about three thousand light-years from Earth (Source: Wikipedia)

This was a very challenging target to process. I've spent few nights troubleshooting elongated stars across my field, only to end up tracing it to the ASI1600 fan, so I've disconnected it and imaged without it, with temps ranging between 0 and -10. The things we go through in this hobby. It's also my first time going through an HDR composition, and adding RGB stars. I hope I've done this beautiful target enough justice, after all, a star died to create it.

Comments and feedback are always much appreciated.

Clear Skies!
