In 2020, I started a new project.

To create a mosaic image of IC 1805 & 1848.

The goal is to create the 2 - fold mosaic image in H-alpha and OIII.

A high number of images per filter should be achieved.

I calculated 600 sec. as exposure time.

Basis for this is the aperture ratio of my telescope.

The result you can see above.

IC 1805 &1848 in Halpha.

Part 1 = IC 1805 = 89 x 600sec

Part 2 = IC 1848 = 87 x 600sec

The first image was taken on 11/06/2020.

The last image was taken on 02/14/2021.

In total there were 7 nights.

During the night I always changed the objects.

First I started with IC 1805. After one hour I changed to IC 1848.

So it went back and forth.

My thought is that I wanted to have almost the same sky and weather conditions in the pictures in one night.

Thus both mosaic parts of a night were almost always equally bright. It is true that the 7 nights are relatively different from the conditions.

But - there might not be such a big difference if I had always taken only one object per night.

Furthermore I have aligned the image fields with the help of a planetarium program ( Sky Map 11 ) in

such a way that as much as possible of the environment should be on it.

With the help of my 10micron mount I could save the exact coordinates.

Thus it was guaranteed that I always approached the same position.

Thus I had completely small losses (1 - 3 pixel row).

Because of the bad weather conditions from November 2020 to February 2021 I could only finish the H - alpha series.

This year in November I will start with the O3 series.

Hopefully with better weather conditions.

2020 habe ich ein neues Projekt gestartet.

Ein Mosaikaufnahme zu erstellen von IC 1805 & 1848.

Ziel ist es die 2 - fach Mosaikaufnahme in H-alpha und OIII zu erstellen.

Dabei soll pro Filter eine hohe Anzahl von Bildern erreicht werden.

Als Belichtungszeit habe ich mir 600 sek. ausgerechnet.

Grundlage dafür ist das Öffungsverhältnis meines Teleskopes.

Das Ergebnis seht Ihr oben.

Die erste Aufnahme wurde am 06.11.2020 gemacht.

Die letzte Aufnahme wurde am 14.02.2021erstellt.

Insgesamt waren es 7 Nächte.

Bei den Aufnahmen während der Nacht habe ich immer einen wechsel der Objekte durch geführt.

Zuerst habe ich mit IC 1805 angefangen. Nach einer Stunde wechselte ich auf IC 1848.

So ging das hin und her.

Mein Gedanke den ich dabei verfolgte ist, dass ich fast die selben Himmels und Wetterbedingungen bei den Bildern haben wollte in einer Nacht.

Somit waren beide Mosaikteile von einer Nacht fast immer gleich hell. Zwar sind die 7 Nächte relativ unterschiedlich von den Bedingungen.

Aber - es gibt eventuell nicht so einen großen Unterschied wenn ich immer nur ein Objekt pro Nacht aufgenommen hätte.

Des Weitern habe ich mit Hilfe eines Planetariumsprogramms ( Sky Map 11 ) die Bildfelder so ausgerichtet,

dass möglichst viel von der Umgebung mit drauf sein sollte.

Mit Hilfe meiner 10micron Montierung konnte ich die exakten Koordinaten abspeichern.

Damit war gewährleistet, dass ich immer die selbe Position angefahren habe.

Somit hatte ich ganz geringe Verluste (1 - 3 Pixel reihe).

Aufgrund der schlechten Wetterbedingungen von November 2020 bis Februar 2021 konnte ich nur die H - alpha Reihe fertigstellen.

Dieses Jahr im November werde ich mit der O3 Reihe anfangen.

Hoffentlich mit besser Wetterbedingungen.
