Description

This is my second image of NGC 7662 from the 3 nights mission to the C2PU observatory with David Vernet and Serge Brunier. We tried to fix some reflection issues that we had noticed in our images.

I had the opportunity to try some DSO lucky imaging with the 1m deltagraph telescope.

I decided to image NGC 7662, with its shock waves and its extensions using normal exposures and then to make 100ms exposures with the QHY 600M to capture the details of the core (Velocicaptor ).

The large field is a mix of 15s Luminance and RGB (1h + 3 x 20mn) and 60s Luminance and RGB (2h10 + 3x 1h).

EDITED 18/12/2021 : we succeded in correcting all the reflections and flat issues. Reprocessed from scratch showing the IFN. ENJOY.

The lucky imaging has been colored with a 350x1s image taken by Serge with his Nikon D810A. I have stacked 44 000 images out of 72 000. You can see it on revision B here :
