Description

I travelled to our local club observatory for an idea to do some wide field work with my Rokinon/Samyang 10 mm lens and camera tracking mount.

I love our southern skies, they are packed with goodies, and this technique allows me to grab them all. This was a good time to shoot the milky way plane, with a new moon.

ISO 800, 240 seconds, no stacking, no flats, etc.

A couple of planets are there too, Saturn and big Jupiter. My buddy Phil Gardiner showed up with his Orion dob and we had a good look.

Thanks for looking.
