Description

The last hurrah (really, I mean it this time) for my summer 2022 Cygnus sojourn, this is three previously published panels stitched together to produce a very wide field of the central Cygnus region. Lots of cool stuff in this image. I've posted summary details for this image above, but more granular information is available with the individual panels herehere, and here.

This was dicey to stitch together. I didn't initially set out to make it a mosaic, but then I noticed that there was overlap and it might be possible. The panel on the left with Sadr and the Butterfly was at a wonky angle to the rest and in one corner only had about 50 pixels of overlap. But the other corner was enough to get it registered and so here it is.

Shot over 19 nights from September 10 to September 28, 2022.
