Description

M30 (NGC 7099) is a globular star cluster located in Capricornus at about 27,000 light years away. The cluster is in a retrograde orbit which suggests that it came from a satellite galaxy. Also this cluster has gone through core collapse and has one of the highest density regions in our galaxy.
