Description

Ghost of Cassiopeia (IC 59 & 63) with bright star Navi also known as Gamma Cassiopeia.
Natural blue color from dark skies without any filters.
It’s being shaped by radiation from a nearby unpredictably variable star, Gamma Cassiopeiae, which is slowly eroding away the ghostly cloud of dust and gas. Gamma Cassiopeiae is the prototype of a small group of stellar sources of X-ray radiation.
6-7 hr integration under bortle 2 zone.
