Description

I've seen some really nice captures of this object posted recently,  unfortunately this isn't one of them. lol   To be fair though,  their exposure times were six to ten times as long as mine ended up being, so given the time I was able to capture this image I guess I didn't do all that bad.

This object defintely demands lots of exposure time to draw out all of the true detail it has to offer,  I came at this object with a bit of naivety in that regard,  and was quickly humbled and educated with resulting 10 minute exposures basically just revealing the star field with only the slimmist hint of any nebulosity what so ever!  Even after stacking the nebulosity was just barely showing in my capture,  and extensive stretching was required to reveal what bits of it I was able to capture with this first go at this object.

I'll have a better game plan next go round when trying this object in the future! :-)
