Description

The Gamma Cygni nebulae are composed of multiple regions of nebulosity surrounding g-Cygni, at the center of Cygnus.

After a weekend of rain and high winds, I found a few hours of clear skies. This is first light for the NEQ6 mount, it tracked well at .7 rms.

The clouds rolled in soon after I set up and not much integration could be had, only .8 hours.

I enjoy wide-field views, for the surprises I sometimes find in the FOV. After processing I noticed NGC 6914 in the upper right, a pleasant speckle of blue, and a surprise for me, first time I've imaged that DSO - this is more clearly evident in the early noisier versions of this image.
