Description

Winter is coming!!! IC-410 and IC-405, Tadpole and Flaming Star Nebulas in the constellation Auriga making their way from the northeast. This is a star nursery region of both emission and reflection nebulae. NGC 1893 is an open star cluster resting in the center of the Tadpole, while AE Aurigae, is the bright star visible in the upper portion of the Flaming Star. IC-405 and the star are 1500 light years away, however IC-410 is approximately 12,000 light years away.
