Io transit past Jupiter's Great Red Spot - August 23, 2022

Revision title: Annotated Composite: Transit in 10 minute increments

A few days after imaging the Great Red Spot and Jupiter's rotation , I was excited to have the two great things line up: the GRS was facing me during the best hours, and Io was about to transit while casting its shadow just past the GRS. I had to give it a try!

I did less imaging this time, but I do have eight nice videos between 1:50 am and 3:30 am (US Eastern Time), catching Io as it first crossed the leftmost limb and its shadow passed the GRS. As before, each video is 10000 frames at 480p, 5 ms exposure, about 155 FPS.

Then, for each of these SER videos:
* Stack best 15% of the frames in Autostakkert (with 3x drizzle, RGB align)
* Wavelet sharpening and color balance in Registax
* Stretch contrast in Photoshop, gamma at 0.95
* Increase vibrance & saturation slightly (+20)
* Linear contrast curve
* Light Topaz denoising (denoise: 1%, sharpen: 10%, original details: 25%)
* Unsharp mask (150%, 5 px radius)

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.

Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
