Description

This object is an open cluster located 8000 light years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia at a declination of +60 degrees. The cluster spans 6 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 14 light years.

The cluster does not stand out from the Milky Way background as much as most clusters, and has few blue members or double stars. I cannot see any galaxies in the background. The only thing of interest for me with this object is that the cluster has an interesting and unique triangular shape.
