Description

How I'd like to capture a nebula for at least two hours of integration. Anyway, during times like this the moon comes in handy while there is always room for improvement, hence need for practice whenever the cloud cover is not entirely closed.

The final image is a mosaic of three color panels, 600 frames each taken at FL=750mm (f5) with 1ms exposure at gain 100 and 136fps in raw-8, 10-bit, 1.5x drizzled. The images in the revision are taken at FL=1500mm (f10), 1.5x drizzled, all below 4ms exposure at gain 200, 136fps (max possible at max ROI), raw-8 (infrared images converted to gray scale). In my view, infrared images taken with the ASI462MC rival monochrome images taken with an ASI290MM employing the same IR pass filter wavelengths.
