      Description

      This somewhat mysterious mag11 galaxy is located only 3° from CenA and Omega Cen, but is quite unknown among photographers. It obvioulsy lacks any bulge or core, and belongs to the superthin and low surface brightness galaxies. Some speculate it may be interacting with or even being itself a disrupted piece of CenA.

      I first detected it on a widefield of the region, where it shows up as a tiny smudge:
