I wanted to shoot NGC2903 with LRGB, plan was to shoot:
- 3 x 30 (R, G, B) 60 seconds subs
- 90 (L) 60 seconds subs
But unfortunately after 45 minut (30 R, 15 G) clouds covered the sky
When I processed only R channel I was really sorry I couldn't finish the session as I think it would be really nice image.
Hopefully I can get some more data soon and finish it, but as I quite like the result thus far I am uploading this R+G (45 min integration) only version for now.
Update from 5th of April - Sad saga continues (this time my fault not the weather):
I had initial issues with clouds and mount/autoguiding. When I finally fixed it and start shooting the telescope was out of focus (I focused only at the beginning and not before second start of shooting - yes, stupid me
) so I have 3 hours of useless data (left data from 5.4, right data from 4.4 and from the image above):
Well they say it's a learning curve. Just yesterday I was thinking if I'd enable automatic focus in the shooting session but decided against it (want to test it more eventhough lately autofocusing works very well for me).
Update from 18th of April - Finally some colors I was finally able to get 30 minutes of B & G channels and started to shoot 90 minutes of L but after ~30 minutes clouds covered the sky. At least I got something out
