Description

During my setup for this galaxy the raw data looked like a faint cloud that keep changing. I started at 120 sec exposures and ended up at 500 sec since I had good tracking. I'm surprised that it out as good as it did!!

NGC 5585 is a late type spiral galaxy in the M101 group, and is located about 28 million light-years away from Earth. Hotspots of star formation can be seen along the galaxy’s faint spiral arms. These regions shine a brilliant blue.
