Description

Messier 83, also cataloged as NGC 5236, is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Hydra. It is one of the closest and brightest spiral galaxies in the sky.

This beautiful galaxy is a privilege for us observers in the southern hemisphere. Its visual magnitude is 7.6, traveling the immensity of the universe for 15 million light years until it finds us in our small blue point specially created for a purpose living.
