Description

Hi,

I don't think I will get bored with this constellation!

Swan (Latin Cygnus, add. Cygni, abbreviation Cyg) - one of the most expressive constellations of the northern sky, known already in antiquity. The number of stars visible to the naked eye: approximately 150, the 16th largest. In Poland, it is visible from spring to autumn. Due to the fact that its brightest stars form a cross in the sky, it is sometimes called the Cross of the North (analogy to the Cross of the South). The constellation is within the Milky Way. High in the northern summer sky, the Swan shows the brightest part of the northern Milky Way, the magnificent Star Cloud in Swan. The brightest star of the Cygnus, Deneb, together with Altair of the Eagle and Vega of the Lute, forms a characteristic summer sky formation, an asterism - the Summer Triangle.
