Description

Re-visiting the Soul nebula during bright, nearly full moon. It is a large area of relatively bright nebulosity in Cassiopeia. Several small open clusters are embedded in the nebula. It lies some 6500 light years away in the Perseus arm of our Milky Way galaxy.

I decided to break from my recent run of Hubble-type color palette for narrowband image processing and use a more "natural" version. All three channels of narrowband data (Ha, OIII, and SII) used in this image. Reduced RGB stars are also blended in.
