Description

Another one from the field test runs for the new rig. As M5 skims just above the equatoral line seeing and general conditions aren't known to be good (at all) since form my vintage point that means never higher than 40 degrees. I normally restrict my altitude to 30 degrees which means avoid the worse of the crud in my souther horizon but also limited time before reaching the meridian and then not much time after crossing it (buildings and trees conspire against it). I'm still struggling with the colour calibration in PI using the HyperCam533c and I suspect a big in there somewhere. Given that I always have to correct for excessive green but so far managed to get something presentable. It is surely a step forward with respect to the previous attempt and I'm impressed by the number of minuscule galaxies in the field.
