There are a lot of images of this object on Astrobin at the moment and I decided to make one too. I wanted to image this galactic chain for a while, mostly because the amount of galaxies always impressed me (PI found 169 PGC galaxies in the background).
Unfortunately the weather here has been very bad over the last couple of weeks und I can only image for approximately 3-4h per night before this object sinks below 30°. Also, this is one of the few targets really suited for a 550mm refractor during galaxy season. I am really looking forward to the summer targets and narrowband imaging!
