NGC 7129

Voici l'amas ouvert NGC 7129 situé à environ 3000 années-lumière dans Céphée, associé à cette belle petite nébuleuse par réflexion LBN 497.

Cette nébuleuse très peu brillante a été une cible difficile à imager et à traiter, je pense aux limites de mon ciel urbain et j'ai dû triturer l'image pour l'exploiter malgré le temps de pose conséquent... et ça se voit mais bon, content quand même des couleurs obtenues....

26 heures de poses en centre ville d'Amiens en juin et juillet 2020 avec RC8 sur Avalon Linear et QHY163mm + filtres Astrodon

Here is the open cluster NGC 7129 located about 3000 light years away in Cepheus, associated with this beautiful little réflection nebula LBN 497.

This faint nebula was hard to image and process, Maybe at the limits of my urban sky and I had to grind the image to exploit it in spite of the consequent exposure time ... and it shows but hey, still happy with the colors obtained ....

26 hours of exposure in downtown Amiens in June and July 2020 with RC8 on Avalon Linear and QHY163mm + Astrodon filters

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.

If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
