Description

EGB-6, discovered by Ellis, Grayson, and Bond in 1984, is a large and old planetary nebula in Leo. It has a size of 11*13 arcmin and is about 1500 light years away. Its age is approximated to 60.000 years. Its CSPN (WD0950 + 139) is suggested by recent HST images to be a binary star.

All exposures are unguided 120s at f/2 and bin 1x1. A dynamic combination of Ha and Oiii was used, which was recombined into a LRGB image with Ha as Lum and RGB stars.
