Description

Here’s a 20-panel mosaic of the NGC7000 region, 100 hours of exposure in total (more than 228MP) captured during this summer (05/01/19 to 08/08/19).

This region of the sky is dear to my heart because it is beautiful, colorful and vast. From left to right, we can see Sh2-119 (not so often photographed), the famous NGC7000 and IC5070 (often called the Pelican).

It was an adventure to get all these hours of exposure. Firstly, my mount had some guiding problems. After that, the sky wasn’t cooperating very much… Then, at the end of the project in August, my dome didn’t close while an invisible thunderstorm on the weather forecast came down on my material, fortunately without any damage.

But in the end, this project was a pleasure to realize. I’m very, very happy with the result. I can now say for sure that this is my best picture. I hope you like it as much as me…

Zoom in, enjoy!
