Description

Also known as Sharpless 105, the Crescent Nebula, an emission nebula, lies in the constellation Cygnus at a distance of 5,000 light-years away. The Wolf-Rayet star’s (WR 136) fast stellar winds formed the structures of the nebula.



Taken in May 2017 over multiple nights (3-4 &18-21) from Campbell, CA, USA. Sky: 18.80 mag/arcsec^2
