Description

The Small Rosette Nebula is located in the Perseus arm of our galaxy, about 7,500 light years away from Earth. In its center is a small, young cluster of stars, Stock 18. The bright star in the center of the nebula ionizes the surrounding hydrogen gas and causes the nebula to glow
