Thanks to my friend Ed Defesche who did a marvelous job on repairing the crappy background gradient on this image.
I figures I had not done an M42 image since just after I got my scope two years ago so it was about time to do a new version.
Note that I used a single sub length for the full dynamic range of this picture. I binned 2x2 to increase the full well of the 6200mm and it is amazing what this camera can do.
