Description

The clear, dark nights are finally starting to appear again after those light summer months.  A few more wouldn't go a miss though.

This is NGC 7822 through the Samyang 135 @ ~F2.6 (49mm step down ring).  I wanted a touch more data but I believe the camera has a fault so is back with the retailer for a look.

NGC 7822 has a very distinct skull shape for me - especially in this orientation.  Alongside the "little rosette" (Sh2-170) at the bottom can also give that "cosmic question mark" these two nebula can be known as.  I like seeing a close up on NGC 7822 as well as this type of view where you have much wispier nebulosity around the periphery which I hope I've captured here in a subtle way.

Captured with the ASI Air Pro, stacked in APP and processed in PixInsight.

Thanks for looking.
