Description

In the process of going back to data sets, I decided to combine two sets on one of my favorite galaxies. While M106 is cool on its own, there are just too many galaxies in the background to ignore. Solution! Use widefield data to capture all of those, then use the RCOS to capture details in the galaxy then combine the two. Another huge project with an equally large integration.

A total pain to get it all right together, but I am quite pleased with how it came out. The resolution in M106 is fantastic, but surprisingly not much over the RH-305. Sometimes, the atmosphere really is the biggest enemy to AP. There is more increased res at full scale, but sadly the impact is reduced when shrinking the galaxy to fit the RH-305 size.

Clear skies, and stay healthy.
