The actual total integration time shall be less than what was acquired. There were a few nights with very bad seeing and high level clouds. The pre-processing went through NormalizeScaleGradient and all calibrated subs were hand picked for ImageIntegration. Perhaps 10-20 hours reduction from 57h.
I noticed the Image Solve tool provided by Astrobin has Henry Draper Star Catalogue while PixInsight doesn't have out of box. So I downloaded
The Tycho-2 Catalogue : I/259 data combined with Tycho-2 stars in
Galactic Bulge Survey : J/ApJ/761/162 data to form the custom annotation table. There is a pretty good
tutorial about how to make the PixInsight annotation file.
For the picture, the luminance comes from the traditional SHO palette where the s2 structure can be preserved better, while the color is originally based on the formula mentioned
here to strengthen signal across channels.
