The delay in publishing it is due to the fact I was working for many days on refining what I think is the best method of doing comet processing using the new CometAlignment process and StarXterminator in PixInsight. I figured out a way to tame Local Normalization (which helps minimize some background issues) as well as a full treatment of using CometAlignment explaining the usage of reference image as pinned images for fixed points along the comet's path. Among other things, this enables the processing of the unregistered comet-only data (SXT batch star removed) so that the comet images are not double interpolated.
