Description

Sh2-124 is a dim emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. Though the signal is quite weak Sh2-124 emits nicely strctured H-alpha and OIII light. In the neighborhood  small and very dim (21.36 mag/arcsec2) planetary nebula is present. LDû 1 (PN G0945-00.8a was discovered in 2011 by the French amateur astronomer Pascal Le Dû.

ZWO ASI2600mm pro and TS Photoline 130/910 with TSRD379 reducer (f/5.4).

Description: The image contains the two planetary nebulas LDû 1 and K3-83. Here they are in a crop. LDû 1 was discovered in 2011 by Pascal le Dû and K3-83 was found in 1972 by L. Kohoutek
