Description

NGC 891 is a beautiful edge on Spiral Galaxy In Andromeda. It lies 32 million light years away.

This was captured from my backyard on the evenings and early morning hours from Oct 3, 4, 5, 6 2019. It was drizzled Integrated. And I didn't want to crop the edges ( stacking artifacts) because of the many distant galaxies found near the upper left quadrant of the image.

This is a personal record for me.... longest yet total integration time on a target!!!

Description: This is yet another re-process using Starnet++ to produce a starless image to work with. It resulted in smaller stars. I'm not sure which I like better. I did achieve my goal of reducing the halos around the brighter stars.
