Description

Wide field because this guy is too distant for my 102GT. I do like the interesting neighborhood though! NGC 4523 is a Magellanic spiral galaxy located about 35 to 50MLYs. NGC 3476 is ~450MLYs, (go ahead and pixel peep on this one...amazing from a small refractor.)

M88 is 50 to 60MLYs and more than interesting on its own - from Wikipedia: "M88 is classified as a type 2 Seyfert galaxy, which means it produces narrow spectral line emission from highly ionized gas in the nucleus. In the core region there is a central condensation with a 230 parsec diameter, which has two concentration peaks. This condensation is being fed by inflow from the spiral arms. The supermassive black hole at the core of this galaxy has 107.9 solar masses, or about 80 million solar masses." and "Seyfert galaxies are one of the two largest groups of active galaxies, along with quasars. They have quasar-like nuclei with very high surface brightnesses whose spectra reveal strong, high-ionisation emission lines, but unlike quasars, their host galaxies are clearly detectable."

Had to throw out many subs due to bright satellites. I could really use more RGB data but the moon is now too close. I do have some Ha subs but not a help (at least with my skills).
