Description

The Rosette Nebula (Caldwell 49) is an HII region associated with the open cluster NGC 2244 (Caldwell 50) lying about 5,000 light years away in the constellation of Monoceros. The nebula is about 130 light years in diameter.

Acquired over 4 nights on 18 Feb 2021, 7 Mar 2021, 21, 22 Mar 2022  from my Bortle 5 back garden with Redcat 51 on an iOptron Skyguider Pro (not guided) with ASI 1600 MM Pro mono camera with R, G, B, Ha and OIII filters.
22 Mar 2022 - RGB 20 x 120s each, Ha 45 x 120s, OIII 6 x 120s
22 Mar 2122 - Ha 40 x 120s, OIII 40 x 120s, SII 3 x 120s
7 Mar 2021 - RGB 30 x 60s, Ha 40 x 120s
18 Feb 2021 - Ha 170 x 60s
