Description

M-35 is a bright open cluster located near the foot of the Twins. Visually it is about 27 arc minutes in extent, and lies at a distance of 3800 light years from Earth. NGC-2158 is a rich compact open cluster, which though it is visually near M-35, is actually 9,000 light years more distant!
