To celebrate my first warm (if wet!) winter in California, here is the California Nebula! I used the Ha channel to enhance the red channel and as luminance, since this emission nebula is pretty much all Ha anyway. Pretty stoked with how this came out! Using Ha as luminance or mixed into luminance has gotten me some really nice results that otherwise would have been gross thanks to my light-polluted skies.
