Finally a few nice nights again without annoying moonlight. It was very, very humid, everything was soaking wet. The lens heating had to do well. But there were also many stars to be seen. Unfortunately, the stars have swelled a little due to the high humidity. But enough of the whining. A lot of exposure time came together.

The lion nebula (Sh2-132) looks relatively inconspicuous in the H-alpha light. Distance about 10,000 - 12,000 light years. With a small focal length it forms a beautiful motif together with the apparently large nebula IC1396, which houses the elephant trunk nebula. Distance about 2400 light years

Endlich mal wieder ein paar schöne Nächte ohne störendes Mondlicht. Es war sehr sehr feucht alles triefte vor Nässe. Die Obejektivheitzung hatte gut zu tun. Aber es waren auch viele Sterne zu sehen. Leider haben sich die Sterne durch die hohe Feuchtigkeit etwas aufgebläht. Aber genug des Jammerns. Es kam einiges an Belichtungszeit zusammen.

Der Löwennebel (Sh2-132) sieht im H-Alphalicht relativ unscheinbar aus. Entfernung ca. 10000 - 12000 Lichtjahre. Bei einer kleinen Brennweite bildet er ein schönes Motiv zusammen mit dem scheinbar großen Nebel IC1396, das den Elefantenrüsselnebel beherbergt. Entfernung ca. 2400 Lichtjahre
